Home Fix Insight at homefixinsight.com is operated by Coastal Trades Group LLC, a Florida limited liability company. By submitting a request or paying for a review, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Disclaimer.
You describe a home repair problem or a repair estimate and may upload up to five photos. A tradesperson reviews what you send and provides a written opinion, usually within 24 hours of payment and a complete submission. We cover HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances and tile. We do not review roofs.
Each review costs $21.99, paid through Gumroad before the review begins. The fee covers one written review of one issue.
You agree to give accurate, complete information and clear photos, and to submit only photos you have the right to share. Our opinion depends entirely on what you provide; missing or unclear information may limit the review.
If we cannot provide a review — for example, because the issue is outside the categories we cover — we will refund your payment. Once a written review has been delivered, the fee is non-refundable.
A review is an opinion based on photos and your description only. It is not an on-site inspection, a guarantee, a contractor's bid, or an agreement to perform any work. Please read the full Disclaimer.
All content on homefixinsight.com and in our products — including text, guides, courses, graphics and logos — is owned by Coastal Trades Group LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable license for your own use. You may not copy, resell, share, upload or distribute our products without written permission.
You agree not to misuse the Site, attempt to access it without authorization, interfere with its operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Coastal Trades Group LLC, its owner and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or property, arising from your use of the Site or our products or services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the product or service that is the subject of the claim.
You agree to defend and hold harmless Coastal Trades Group LLC from any claims, losses or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Your continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
